How To Plasti Dip Your 2003 Ford Mustang Rims Without Removing From Car

Description: This guide will show you how to Plasti Dip your 2003 Ford Mustang rims without removing them from the car.

Tools Required: n/a

Parts Required:

  1. Note Cards (or protective covering)
  2. Tape
  3. Plasti Dip

Step 1: Clean your rims then use your covering material to cover up the brakes. We chose to use note cards and that worked out very well. We also taped the air valve although it is not required.

Step 2: Apply your first coat of plasti dip to your rims. Don’t over do it, here is our first coat. Make sure to apply evenly with the spray can 6 to 8 inches from the rim.

Step 4: Apply until you reach your desired results. We applied 5 coats.

Step 5: Rub your finger on the tire after the plasti dip has dried. This will get a loose skin of plasti dip that went on the tire and slowly peel off the tire.
