Description: This guide will show you how to replace the brake light and turning light on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma.
Parts Required:
- Amber Bulb 3157 (Turn Signal)
Step 1: Lower the tailgate.
Step 2: Use a 10mm wrench to remove the two bolts holding the taillight.
Step 3: Gently pull the taillight out of the truck frame.
Step 4: Twist and remove the turn signal or brake light.
Step 5: Remove the light bulb by grabbing the base of the bulb and pulling away from the socket.
Important: Make sure to use a glove to prevent body oils from damaging the bulb.
Step 6: Replace the light bulb.
Step 7: Re-insert the bulb and socket into the taillight.
Step 8: Make sure everything is secure and in place then put the taillight back into the frame of the truck.
Step 9: Re-fasten the 10mm bolts holding the the taillight to the frame of the truck and you have finished replacing your taillight.
